This guide takes you from zero to your first running automation in about 5 minutes.
Step 1: Describe what you want
Just write it in plain text, the way you'd explain it to a colleague. "When I get an email from a client, create a Google task and draft a reply." Octonous reads your description and builds the automation for you, including when it runs, what model to use, what actions to take, and the instructions to follow.
Step 2: Review and adjust
Check everything Octonous generated:
When to run: the trigger or schedule it inferred from your description
Model: the AI model powering the automation (you can swap it if needed)
Actions: what Octonous will do each time it runs
Instructions: the logic it will follow, in plain text you can edit directly
Step 3: Preview it
Use Preview mode to do a full dry run without sending any messages, creating any records, or modifying anything. You'll see exactly what would have happened, step by step. If you want to trigger a real run immediately, use Run now.
Step 4: Turn it on
Octonous will now run automatically, every time the trigger fires or the schedule kicks in.
Once active, check Execution history to see every past run, what happened, and whether it succeeded.
